Frequently asked questions
Can I try JeScan before paying?
Yes. The Free plan is fully functional with 1 GB of storage and 20 AI scans per month. No credit card required. You can upgrade to Pro or Team at any time.
What happens when I hit 20 AI scans on the Free plan?
You can still upload and store documents — they just won't be auto-classified by AI until next month. Full-text search and manual organization still work.
What counts as an AI scan?
Each document processed by JeScan's AI pipeline counts as one scan. This includes auto-classification, metadata extraction (amount, date, issuer), and auto-tagging.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Your documents are never deleted when changing plans.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Team plans can also pay by invoice.
Is there a yearly discount?
Not yet, but we're planning annual billing with a 20% discount. Sign up for the monthly plan now and we'll migrate you when it's available.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your documents remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. You can export everything from Settings at any time. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted.
How does Team billing work?
The Team plan includes 10 users at $99/month. Each additional user costs $8/month. The organization owner manages billing and can add or remove members.
